INTRODUCING: JUST FICTION
After collaborating on many brand anthems, jingles, and other commercial music projects, Chaliwa composers Cesar Haliwa and Andy Stermer and longtime Chaliwa collaborator Lucette Romelus formed Just Fiction with the goal of creating modern pop music ready-made for visual media. Their sound is dreamy, anthemic, and danceable, drawing on influences like Lizzo, Dua Lipa, and Carly Rae Jepsen, and blending elements of Pop, Rock, R&B, and Synthwave. On their debut EP, Just Fiction explores lyrical themes of love, perseverance, and adventure, evoking sonic landscapes both retro and futuristic. Just Fiction is excited to be part of the exclusive artist roster at Audiosocket, where their new 5-track EP is available for licensing. Audiosocket is a visionary music licensing company, providing band catalogs and premium production music for some of the biggest brands, film studios, and TV networks in the world, including Disney, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and Paramount.

Our music team is excited to announce the release of Overdrive, a collection of 7 road-ready rock tracks produced by Hungry Human, Chaliwa’s new production music division. Our in-house music team has honed its production skills over many years, creating custom music tracks for commercial campaigns, network promos, short films, and other media. Under the Hungry Human banner, Chaliwa will offer production music albums tailored to different corners of the media landscape. Overdrive is tailor-made for automotive campaigns, sports promos, and other high-energy content. Featuring full-throttle guitars, hard-hitting drums, and punchy modern production elements, the album includes compositions by Chaliwa’s in-house composers Cesar Haliwa, Andy Stermer, and Eduardo Larez, along with frequent Chaliwa collaborator Eric Monterrosa.
